You will be invited in to see either the Doctor or the nurse at regular intervals to have your diabetes checked. This will involve having blood taken for tests and a check up with the nurse.

Sometimes this is a yearly check but at other times a 6 monthly check. We will  tell you when it is time to come in.

Once a year you will be invited to have your eyes looked at with a camera. This is called retinal screening
